Description:

1. The helicopter and its flying control system were developed in response to market demand for aerial agricultural spraying. Traditional way of manned crop dusters had been in use, but the small size of farms meant that this method was pricy and safety concerned. It offers much more precise spraying at a lower cost and lower risk rate than manned aircraft.
2. Flybarless rotor has a simple structure for the purpose of low failure rate.
3. Lifted tail rotor prevents from crashing caused by spray chemical applies on tail rotor.
4. Compare to traditional manned aircraft, it does not require a large take off terrain, it could easily take off and land from farms side area, no special track required; its light weight, small size, can be transported with a small size van.
5. Depending on the skill of controller, the helicopter could cover up to 1.5 hectare of land within 12 minutes, it is 60-80 times more effective than traditional manual hand spraying. When spraying pesticides operates, intense downdraft from the helicopter’s rotation can split and shake the crops and pesticides will be able to evenly apply on to the back and the roots of crops. In other words, comparing to traditional manual hand spraying, the helicopter offers crops and operator a better protection.
6. The use of ultra-low volume pesticide spraying operation can limit the cost of water and pesticides. Moreover, using remote control allows the operator to stay away from chemical pollution, it’s greatly reducing the harm to the operator.
7. GPS tracking system automatically adjust the discharge rate of pesticide according to the flying speed of the helicopter. The function keeps the discharge rate per unit area uniform. At the same time, it provides real-time visual spray tracking system; it has been developed to provide a live feedback through an application on a smart phone or tablet. It does not require a runway to takeoff or landing, it takes off vertically. Hanhe BD-1 system has been installed air pressure sensor, which effectively lowers the operation difficulty and the risks. It is compatible for all kinds of complex terrain farmlands and changed heights of crops. Accurate dusting can be achieved for different crops in the adjacent farmlands. While it utilizes the strong downward rotating airflow to flip and shake the crops when crop dusting, it comes into being a turbulent area above the crops underneath. The crop dusting is very uniform and partial pesticide is dusted on the back of stem and leaf, the quality of crop dusting of which the manpower and other dusting equipment can not achieve. As the cyclone under the helicopter is concentrated and powerful, it is easier to form a layer of membrane through the fluff surface of the plants to kill the pests uniformly and effectively by utilizing the ultra-fine pulverization dusting.
